Photography is one profession that I express much interest and was willing to give it a go as one of my hobbies. However, as time went on and I grew older, I decided to leave it to the professionals and follow another path. Believe you me, I made the right choice. Can I tell you? Photography takes extensive work, passion, an eye for creativity and that intuition to identify an epic shot! I admire these guys.
David, a professional wedding an lifestyle photographer who lives on the island of Grenada, has a true passion for capturing the beauty of two hearts becoming one through his camera lenses. His work is genuinely inspiring and the result, a work of art.
For David, the act of marriage goes beyond a ceremony and reception filled with sentimental memorable moments; It is a covenant and life long bond formed between two individuals and God. He views this special event as more than just a day and each photo as a memory of some beautiful instance soon to be etched in the pages of history; a day marked by the love between two persons and captured by him forever.
“It [photography] allows me to be creative and even express my romantic or sentimental side.” – David Twum-Barimah
Although David began to explore photography in 2010 it was not until 2011 that Tyndale Studio made their debut. The company made a major step forward at the launch of Island Weddings, attending as vendor and having one photo featured on some of the media used to promote the event.
Since then, Tyndale Studio has made tremendous progress. Nevertheless, that is not how things got started. When David purchased his first DSLR camera, it was primarily to get clean pictures to build websites. Tyndale Studio was not exactly what he had in mind. However, after shooting an engagement and wedding for a client, he had a change of heart. “She was not completely sold”, said David. The bride-to-be was a bit nervous and was not convinced that David could thoroughly capture her special moments of the most important day of her life.
Her objections did not put him down but pushed him to pour his heart and soul into this job. He worked hard to get it right and went beyond the expectations of his clients. The end product was amazing and they were completely sold! From that moment he knew without a doubt that he was a wedding photographer and completely loved it!
