For the past two and a half weeks I have been using Rosemarie’s Cosmetics Essential Nutmeg & Green Tea Facial Cleanser and thought that I should share my views on it.

Rosemarie’s Cosmetics is owned by Grenadian entrepreneur and aesthetician, Rosemarie Charles.
I have known about Rosemarie’s products for quite some time and have always wanted to try them out since they are natural, gluten-free and paraben-free.
I decided to try the facial cleanser after listening to Rosemarie share on skin care at The Beauty Bar makeup workshop by Grenadian makeup artist, Tanie Layne-James a couple weeks ago. Rosemarie also gave a little insight on her products which left me curious to see how well my skin will respond. I have very oily skin and a few acne prone areas so I was all for trying something new (but natural) just to see if it will help with my slight issue.
The texture of the product is smooth and lathers well. It has a fruity fragrance and smells somewhat like orange. I can’t really put my finger on exactly what it is, but I love the fragrance.
I use the cleanser twice per day most days and at least once per week, I use it with an apricot scrub.
Rosemarie did advise that apricot scrubs should not be used too often since the texture can be damaging to the skin so I make sure to keep my ‘scrub’ routine to a minimum of 1-2 times per week.
I apply the product to my face, rubbing in circular motions all over my face and leave it for a few minutes to pull out impurities from deep down before rinsing.
So far, with consistent use, I can say that the cleanser is working well. I paid close attention to the areas where the breakouts tend to occur and I can honestly say that the slight issue is reducing. My skin is looking a lot clearer and it feels great too! This product is a keeper. 🙂
Rosemarie also has a few other skin care products such as a moisturizer and facial serum which I will be looking into trying sometime soon.
